2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on Ensure Positive Learning Environments. 

We are doing this to/because a positive learning environment impacts student engagement and supports the essential conditions for learning. 

Key Actions or Strategies

• Supporting student mental health and student self-regulation;
• Engage with students, staff, families/guardians and community partners to acknowledge the school features and strategies that encourage belonging (welcoming, accessibility, uniqueness, social spaces); 
• Provide learning opportunities for students and families on self-regulation, mental health, and belonging and connecting experiences;
• Reinforce kindness and inclusion through school events, assemblies and activities. 

Community and Home Connections

• Ask your child about their experiences of inclusion and a positive learning environment. 
• Try discussion and identifying emotions and feelings at home with your child.
